
Pratt & Whitney Wins $3.8B Pentagon Deal to Supply F135 Engines for Global F-35 Fleet
The US Department of Defense has awarded Pratt & Whitney a $3.8 billion contract to build more F135 engines for the F-35 fighter jet. The deal supports global fleet readiness across 20 allied nations. Pratt & Whitney will deliver engines, spares, and technical assistance through March 2028. The F135 produces 115,000 horsepower and powers all three F-35 variants.
