Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has introduced TrophyLab, a secure online platform that shares information collected from captured Russian military equipment.
The system became operational last week and is available only to approved users. Officials say it formalizes a process that Ukraine has already been carrying out with selected partners during the war.
The platform currently contains information on more than 115 captured military items. These systems are grouped across 79 categories and supported by over 225 technical studies. The research includes findings from Ukrainian state laboratories, military experts, and intelligence agencies.
Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced the launch and described it as a resource for partner nations.
He said every captured missile, drone, and vehicle can provide valuable lessons for countries supporting Ukraine. The ministry believes battlefield equipment can help improve defense planning and military technology development.
What Information Is Available on TrophyLab?
Approved users can access technical documents, blueprints, component studies, and engineering assessments. The database includes some of Russia’s most advanced military systems recovered on the battlefield. Among the listed examples are the Kinzhal hypersonic missile and the T-90M main battle tank.
The platform offers more than digital records and technical reports. Verified partners can also request access to physical equipment for inspection and testing. Depending on the purpose, hardware can be examined intact, disassembled, or subjected to destructive testing.

Such access is especially valuable for countries developing electronic warfare systems and defensive countermeasures. TrophyLab is not open to the public. Eligible users include Ukrainian defense organizations, domestic manufacturers, foreign defense ministries, approved defense companies, and accredited scientific institutions. Every applicant must complete a vetting process before receiving access.
The restrictions reflect the sensitive nature of the information stored on the platform. Some captured systems contain technical details that have not been widely published. Limiting access helps protect intelligence while still supporting defense cooperation among partner nations.
Ukraine has increasingly treated battlefield experience as a strategic asset.
