ShieldAI’s Visual Detection and Ranging sensor technology was recently integrated onto Leonardo Helicopters.
The aim was to autonomously detect, classify, and track targets across land and maritime environments.
ShieldAI’s ViDAR system consistently recognized both moving and static targets at maximum ranges in real time.
The system demonstrated how Shield AI’s passive, wide-area sensing enhances ISR and SAR missions for NATO allies and customers worldwide and enabling future integration across Leonardo’s fleet.
