EHang’s next-generation long-range autonomous eVTOL, the VT35, has successfully completed its first public flight at Feidong Bailong Airport in Hefei, Anhui Province, China.
This event demonstrated the aircraft’s safety, stability, and reliability in an open public setting and marks an important step forward in advancing the company’s low-altitude air mobility efforts.
The VT35 is designed as a medium- to long-range, pilotless electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft suitable for intercity, cross-sea, and mountainous transport scenarios, equipped with autonomous operation and point-to-point connectivity for efficient, eco-friendly flight.
Its public debut builds on earlier milestones including its global unveiling in Hefei in October 2025, where the aircraft was showcased as part of EHang’s expanding product portfolio and vision for scalable urban and regional air mobility solutions.
